Anyway, last week I went on a road trip with Betsy, we stopped by my aunt s house… my aunt is not a hippy but she s a very chilling, cool kind of aunties! And she has all sort of bizarre things in her house or old things she got from the family including the very old but nice looking camera… and Betsy and I suddenly found the urge to get a pic with it. On top of that because I particularly love Red and I ll thank again the Creator of Betsy for the custom made outfit and red colors I decided to play a bit with Lightroom cause it s been a while…. and here we go…

I used 2 presets with LR:’Vignette’ to darker the background a bit and ‘Color Isolate Red’

I just spent 30 min deleting all that shitty spammy comments, I hate that with wordpress grrrrrrr. Anyway, once again I apologize for the frequency of my posts I basically don t have time anymore since I got a job, I m spending most of week time in Paris and the rest well sleeping in Toulouse :s

Anyway today my mum came back from her trip and decided to pick up her vegetables she had grown in her garden, and guess she got some weird but very cute artichoke, all them were green except one, the outsider was dark purple, i clicked it on the kitchen table. The light might be a bit too high but hey I have my flight at 6.45 AM tomorrow and it s already 21.48 so no time

Bonsoir à tous, un petit post viteuf pour vous dire que Oui je suis toujours en vie au cas ou qq1 s’inquièterait de ma santé (si tenter que qq1 lise ce blog). Vla tit pas que ma mère cueillir les légumes de son potager comme quoi la main verte se n’est pas génétique, je suis une quiche en légumes (hahahaha). Bref, elle ramène des nano artichauts tous vert ou presque, excepté ce Calimero arborant une teinte d’un violet sombre! La lumière me semble un peu trop vivre, j’étais trop près de la bete avec mon flash et j’aurais du allumer la lumière de la cuisine, je n’ai pas eu le temps d’améliorer la photo et j’ai surtout la flemme de le faire étant donné que mon avion décolle à 6h45 demain :s

Hi, I know it s been in a while since I posted, but I haven t got the chance to click anything fantastic not that today it s gonna be awesome, but as you know I have my new baby macbook pro and Jonas made me discover Adobe LightRoom…. niiiiiiice! I love that software and special the presets you can download to change to color of your photo, enlight it or isolate it. And I was sad that none of my cameras could take pictures with the possibility to isolate one specific color but thanks to the Wonderland presets I finally got the chance to do it So today I went to St Stephens green park and I m taking the opportunity to introduce you my new Grumptys Harry HornHouse posing on that picture. Because It was cold, he was wearing one of my old purple and black glove. I used the ‘Color Isolate Purple’ from the Wonderlands preset and here it is Btw the guy is selling his wonderland package with a discount at 39.9 dollards for 176 presets

Bonjour, oui oui je sais ça fait longtemps que je n’ai rien posté, mais pour l’instant je suis toujours à Dublin et je n’ai rien de fantastique à photographier sous un temps froid, pluvieux et foncé Mais grâce à 2 potes j’ai pu découvrir ahhhhh Adobe Lightroom et ces paramètres géniaux Lightroom vous permet d’ajouter/modifier/isoler des couleurs en modifiant tout un tas de paramètres (exposition, luminosité, contraste…) OU et c’est là le plus du logiciel Lightroom arrivent avec des modèles pré-établis qui ont déjà régler tous les paramètres pré-etablis Vous pouvez également en trouver d’autres gratuits sur internet ici par exemple sur Flickr en vous montrant la photo avant et après Vous avez aussi le pack Wonderland à 27 euros avec 176 modèles comme celui que j’ai utilisé sur la photo d’aujourd’hui. Je vous présente mon ami Harry HornHouse qui avait un peu froid et portait un de mes anciens gants violets, grâce au modèle ‘color isolation purple’ j’ai pu mettre la photo en N&B et laissait uniquement son jersey en violet, j’adoooooooore Lightroom.

Hi, haven’t been there for a while, my bad, did not travel anywhere to click new shots till last weekend. My grandma was there for a week so we went visiting the Connemara area in the north west of Ireland. Famous for its 12 hills well tiny ones but still. This time we also took a boat to visit the biggest island of the 3 Aran Islands called Inismór. I gotta tell you, on the 50 minutes way… we went from laugh to green faces when the boat started checking it was funny… less funny after 20 minutes. One of the staff member was roaming around laughing with small blue bin bags in use for other stuff for sick passengers if you know what I mean.

Anyway, on arrival we tool a small bus tour and we visit The cliffs, they are similar to the Cliffs of Moher except that these one do not have any security fences to protect us from i dunno a suicide accident! The weather was not that great between showers and windy time but it gave amazing colors to the shot I published today and also a couple of rainbows we saw. When I took that shot I was literally on a vertical position, on the rocks with my arms bending over the cliffs…. my baby canon was checking looking down seeing the raging sea 100 meters down… I particularly like this shots for the various type of colors of the cliffs, the sky and the sea

De retour après une longue pause…. sans voyage…. sans photo Ce weekend mamie est venue me rendre visite, nous sommes donc allés visiter le Connemara sous les airs de Michel Sardou… oui oui j’insiste bien, mamie avait ramené le best off de Michel Sardou et alors que je roulais à fond de cale avec ma 107 au grand désespoir de Guy n’étant pas fan des tournis et re tournis des petites routes du connemara, Michel Sardou chantait à tue tête Les Lacs du Connemara. Pour la première fois nous prîmes également un ferry pour se rendre sur les Iles Aran et particulièrement Inismor la plus grande des 3. On prit un petit van pour faire le tour de l’île avec notre guide célibataire (il l’a bien répété 12 fois), on s’arreta aux Cliffs du site touristique Dún Aonghasa. Ils ressemblent un peu aux Cliffs of Moher pour ceux qui connaissent sauf que ceux là n’ont pas de barrières de sécurité… non… tu peux donc te suicider si tu veux Le temps était plutôt mitigé cochon d’inde entre pluies et vent mais cela m’a permis d’avoir de jolies couleurs sur ma photo… Pour prendre la photo j’étais littéralement couchée sur le ventre les bras et surtout mon canon chéri pendouillant dans le vide… les diverses couleurs de la roche, du ciel et de la mer m’ont poussé à poster cette photo

I haven t been extremely regular I have to say, but between holidays and work i was caught up with lots of work ;( So i haven t been able to click that much! The good news is… well depends for who we are talking, my dad is not that happy i m afraid, I got myself a new tattoo on my right right foot. It was the most excruciating pain I got in 29 years but Karen from Wildcat shop in Dublin did an amazing job. And of course I took a pic from it, the colors are wondering, note that my polish nail is actually matching the colors and with the black sheet on the background make it even better

Je sais je sais je n’ai pas posté depuis un petit moment, entre le boulot et les vacances je n ai pas eu beaucoup de temps pour prendre des photos ou bloggué! Bon la bonne nouvelle enfin ca dépend pour qui, je me suis fait tatoué le pied droit par Karen. Elle a fait un super travail, les couleurs ressortent super bien, et sont meme assorties a mon vernis a ongles. Avec le drap noir en fond ca fait ressortir encore mieux le tatouage

It was sunny in Dublin… well at least during the afternoon… because we got a big monsoon in the evening ;( Anyway I took this opportunity to go to Merrion Square park in Doblin to take some pics with a couple of friends. I experiment the zoom of a 70-300 sigma lens and I must I am quite happy with the result of the colors first of all… it looks exactly the same from my eyes than on the pic and the quality of details as you can the wings of the bee What do u think?

Samedi dernier… il faisait beau a Dublin!!! Et oui enfin il a fait beau l’apres-midi, on a eu droit a la mousson du soir en sortant du cinéma ( a ce propos je recommande a tout le monde le dernier film de Quentin Tarantino… Inglorious Basterds… un peu sanglant mais super a voir). Bref je décidais de profiter de ces quelques rayons de soleil pour visiter l’un des parcs de Dublin et tester un zoom 70-300 de chez sigma. Et bien j’avoue ne pas etre décue du résultat comme vous pouvez le constater sur la photo. Les couleurs de la fleur sont les memes a vu d oeil!!! Quant a la netteté de l’image de part le stabilisateur de l’appareil, on peut voir les nervures sur les ailes de la guepe!!!! Sympa?

One of my old time favorite picture that I took back in 2007 in Dun Laoghaire, ireland (pronounced Dun Laree:P) I guess, so at that time I did not have a DSLR yet, I had a kodak bridge P880 as far as I remember. Like people said, the camera does not do all the trick, the eye of the photographer has to be good Not that I am saying my picture is awesome, but I just love it. I was almost on the ground when I took that photo because my camera did not have a big angle, and I wanted to have the big size effect. I added the effect ‘antique’ with iphoto on my mac to give a certain genre

Une de mes photos préférées prise en 2007 a Dun Laoghaire (prononcé le Deun Lairie au sud de Dublin pendant l’été erm erm quand je dis été…. je le dis viteuf surtout en 2007. The Big Wheel, Dun Laoghaire

Last year, i got the chance to spend several days on my own in Tenerife, one of the Canarian Islands. I was staying on the north west of the island in Puerto de la Cruz. During my trip I went to El Loro Parque which is a big Zoo type of thing, with some animals shows. I took hundred of pictures there. Today I chose a pic from the big aquarium, my favorite one, the yellow fish.  I took it with my Nikon D40, no flash, through the glass. I really love that pic with the contrast between the yellow of the fish and the deep blue of the water. I particularly loved that fish and his mouth, it looks like he was giving me a kiss Anyway, i also recommend you to go to Tenerife for holidays it s a great place to get relax  or hiking in the north, party hard in the south of the Island Here is some good links about Tenerife : Tenerife Webcam, Tenerife Guide

L’année derniere je suis allée passer quelques jours sur l’une des Iles Canaries, Tenerife Je logeais a Puerto de la Cruz un peu au Nord Ouest de l’Ile ou un de mes amis vivait avec sa femme. Je visitais entre autre El Loro Parque, un zoo avec des shows animaliers. Parmis les 3600000 photos que j’ai prise, j ‘ai choisi ma préférée prise dans l’aquarium… mon poisson jaune Mon Nikon D40 sans flash pris ce poisson que j’aime particulierement de part son physique et surtout sa bouche, on dirait presque qu’il me fait un bisou La 2e raison pour laquelle j’aime cette photo pour le contraste entre ce jaune flashy et le bleu foncé de l’eau

Yellow Fish

On my ‘About Me’ page I wrote that I got my passion for photography through my dad and grandma, and when u look at the picture I took yesterday well it is kind of obvious why? My dad took this picture… gosh… I don t remember when, It was probably 25 years ago when I was … oh yes… it is me on that picture and I was probably 4 or something like that. I was with Minou my stuff animal who is 28 by now because yes he is still alive and living with me I do like both of these pictures a lot, first because my dad took it and it remembers me the good old time when I was a kid, and 2 because my pic looks almost B&W with only this red safety pins I used to attach this picture on my wall

Si vous avez vu ma page ‘A propos’ vous vous souvenez donc d’ou je tire ma passion pour la photography… papa….mamie, et quand on voit la photo que j’ai prise hier soir… n’est-il pas evident? Mon pere a pris cette photo… je ne me rappelle pas exactement… mais ca remonte aux environs des 25 ans… ah oui sur la photo c’est moi et je devais avoir dans les 4ans Accompagnee de Minou ma peluche qui a aujourd hui 28 ans, oui puisqu elle m a suivit durant mes 22 demenagements J’aime beaucoup ces 2 photos, premierement parce que celle de mon pere me rappelle mon enfance et c etait cool a l epoque et 2ement parce que ma photo parait presque toute en N&B avec seulement ces 2 epingles a linge rouge pour donner une pointe de couleur chaude sur cette photo souvenir
