Evening ladies and gentlemen, yes yes I know haven t been there for a while, for those who do not know I quit my job, left Ireland and came back to sunny south of france where I am actually looking for job so if u have or know someone who knows someone who s looking for a IS project manager or consultant… BIM… here i am :p Anyway, the reason for me to post here is to introduce u to my daughter she is 4 months old, her name is Kachoo and yes she is very hairy but it seems it came with the color of that breed 
Soir braves gens! Oui oui boouhhhh la vilaine elle a rien posté depuis des lustres, JE SAIS JE SAIS, mais entre mon ‘quittage’ des paturages verts irlandais, mon retour dans le sud de la france, ma recherche d’emploi effrénée!!!! Je n’ai pas eu le temps de prendre mon canon et me penchait sur mon objectif Donc je profite d’une pause ajd pour vous présenter ma fille de 4 mois Kachoo, non son père n’est pas portugais oui elle est très poilue y parait que c du à la couleur de cette race
Souvenirs….
On my ‘About Me’ page I wrote that I got my passion for photography through my dad and grandma, and when u look at the picture I took yesterday well it is kind of obvious why? My dad took this picture… gosh… I don t remember when, It was probably 25 years ago when I was … oh yes… it is me on that picture and I was probably 4 or something like that. I was with Minou my stuff animal who is 28 by now because yes he is still alive and living with me I do like both of these pictures a lot, first because my dad took it and it remembers me the good old time when I was a kid, and 2 because my pic looks almost B&W with only this red safety pins I used to attach this picture on my wall
Si vous avez vu ma page ‘A propos’ vous vous souvenez donc d’ou je tire ma passion pour la photography… papa….mamie, et quand on voit la photo que j’ai prise hier soir… n’est-il pas evident? Mon pere a pris cette photo… je ne me rappelle pas exactement… mais ca remonte aux environs des 25 ans… ah oui sur la photo c’est moi et je devais avoir dans les 4ans Accompagnee de Minou ma peluche qui a aujourd hui 28 ans, oui puisqu elle m a suivit durant mes 22 demenagements J’aime beaucoup ces 2 photos, premierement parce que celle de mon pere me rappelle mon enfance et c etait cool a l epoque et 2ement parce que ma photo parait presque toute en N&B avec seulement ces 2 epingles a linge rouge pour donner une pointe de couleur chaude sur cette photo souvenir

Miroir … Mirror….
Last year, early 2008, I went to a cooking class with 70 others. An Irish Cook who has apparently a tv show, gave us a cooking demonstration… you may wonder what we cook…. guess what…. Irish stew and brown bread, that’s right. No I am not gonna say that French Cuisine is the best (even if it came through my mind) but what can you cook for 70 people at the same time for a very reasonable budget?
Anyway, she showed us how to prepare the food but because we were numerous, people at the back could not see her…. but…. dunno who invented it but i think it is pretty clever, they installed a giant mirror on top of her table so everyone could at least see in the mirror to check what s going on!
So of course, as a papparazzi, I went with my camera and for the first I was able to be in front and in tha back of my camera!!!!!! To that picture I added the Polaroid style with the Poladroid apps that I talked about in my previous post (very easy and super cool!!!!). So here it is…. Mirror…. Mirror… Who is the cutest?
Miroir mon beau miroir dis moi qui est la plus belle en ce jour… Début 2008… cours de cuisine avec une cuisinière irlandaise qui apparemment passait à la télé. Qu’est-ce qu’elle nous a appris a cuisiner ? du ragout irlandais… forcement avec leur pain brin très bourratif ! Le principe était assez simple… elle nous montrait comment faire… mais comme on était 70 personnes, elle utilisait un énorme miroir positionné au dessus de son établi pour que tout le monde puisse voir… pas folle la bête !
Moi forcément, j’avais pris mon appareil photo… on ne se refait pas que voulez-vous… préférant être derrière l’objectif plutôt que devant… pour une fois j’avais l’occasion d’être devant et derrière en même temps !!! A cela j’ai ajouté le mode polaroid à cette photo, je vous en avais déjà parlé lors de mon précédent post dans cette même catégorie a voir ICI

In the Category Polaroid… looking for the girl. Thanks to my friend Loic (see link above) who gave me the link for Poladroid! It is an application who allows u to transform ur pictures like a polaroid one, there is even the ‘old polaroid’ with finger prints on it !
This is a picture of my friend Sara, who wanted to get a new hair look before going on holidays to the Carribean… here is the result

Dans la catégorie Poladroid je demande la fille. Merci a Loic (Lost in Hibernia) pour m’avoir filer ce lien Poladroid! Cette application permet de transformer ta photo facon Polaroid, tu peux meme avoir mode ‘vieux polaroid’ avec trace de doigt dessus
Voici donc une photo de Sara, une copine italienne qui, avant de partir en vacances aux Caraibes, souhaitait changer son look en mode Rasta Rocket… 2h30 plus tard… une cinquantaine de tresses… et voila… Photo prise dans le salon, en couleur Sepia avec mon Nikon D40 !
